Asake Officially Leaves YBNL Launches Own Record Label

Nigerian artist Ahmed Ololade, known as Asake, has confirmed that he is no longer with YBNL Nation.

Speculation had been swirling about a dramatic exit from Olamide’s YBNL.

Asake announced he is leaving YBNL by dropping his new song, ‘Why Love,’ under his own label, Giran Republic.

Earlier this year, he showed respect to Olamide with his first single, ‘Military,’ putting to rest any rumors of a disagreement between them.

Asake joined YBNL Nation in February 2022.

In July 2022, he made a distribution agreement with Empire.

Even after leaving YBNL, he continues to work with Empire.
