Flying Eagles among top seeds for U-20 AFCON draw

The Flying Eagles of Nigeria will be among the top three seeded teams for the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.

Hosts Cote d’Ivoire and defending champions Senegal are the other seeded teams.

Pot 2 will have Congo, Egypt, and Zambia, while Ghana, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Morocco, Sierra Leone, Kenya, South Africa, and Tanzania will occupy Pot 3.

The top two teams in each of the three groups will advance to the quarter-finals alongside the two best third-placed finishers.

The draw ceremony will be held at the headquarters of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in Cairo, Egypt, on Thursday.

Cote d’Ivoire will host the competition from April 26 to May 18, 2025.
