Veteran actress Zainab Bukky Ajayi was born on February 2, 1934, and passed away 82 years later on July 6, 2016.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Jegede shared her strong feelings of missing her mother. She wished her mother could meet her grandson, Xavier, born on November 1, 2018.

“Mama, I miss you,” she wrote, recalling a recent lunch with a family friend that brought back many emotions.

“Mama, 2 days ago was your remembrance want to say I miss you mama. Your grandson Xavier, he came Nov 1, 2018, yep he’s a big boy now, yes I wish you can see him Mama, I wish you can see the wonderful grandson you have.

Mama, I feel emotional today, and I don’t know why mama, I guess it’s because Shina and His Mom met us up for lunch, mama since then you’ve been on my mind. I want to use this as a tribute to you Mama Bukky 🕊️🕊️🕊️.”
