Popular Nigerian singer, Ayra Starr’s mother has called on women to make family planning a priority to avoid unexpected pregnancies instead of opting for abortion.

In a TikTok video, she discussed the risks associated with abortions and the responsibilities that come with parenting if a pregnancy is not terminated.

She stressed that bringing a child into the world takes a lot of dedication, noting, “You will miss many times” because you will be responsible for the life you brought into the world.

Urging women to think carefully before getting pregnant. It might not be a good idea to sleep with different men after having a child just to raise them. She suggested that family planning can help avoid this situation.
