Ayo Makun Reacts as His ‘Kissing’ Photos with May Edochie Goes Viral Online

Renowned Nollywood actor and filmmaker Ayodeji Richard Makun, widely recognized by his stage name AY Comedian or simply Ayo Makun, has addressed the controversy surrounding AI images and video of him kissing May Edochie, the estranged wife of actor Yul Edochie.

The images, which surfaced online, were created using advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology and falsely depicted the two in an intimate moment during a flight to the United Kingdom. The trip was for the premiere of AY’s latest film, The Waiter.

Both AY and May had previously shared genuine photos of their journey to the UK, dressed in promotional attire for the movie premiere. However, the AI-generated video sparked widespread speculation and misinformation. In response, Ayo Makun condemned the creators of the fake content, urging them to use their skills for positive purposes that uplift the nation rather than spread falsehoods.

He also appealed for empathy and support during these challenging times, referencing the recent online harassment faced by reality TV star Alex Unusual, who was subjected to cyberbullying over unfounded rumors of a romantic involvement with him. AY emphasized the need for kindness and constructive use of social media, rather than perpetuating negativity and baseless accusations.
