OAU update on lecture schedule

The attention of the Vice-Chancellor has been drawn to the fact that some lecturers are in the habit of scheduling lectures for as early as 6.00 a.m. and for as late as 7.00 p.m. This is to remind all academic staff that the official hours for lectures in the University is between 8.00 am and 6.00p.m.

We also like to use this opportunity to emphasize that Lecture Free Week should remain lecture free, hence, all hands should be on deck to make the week devoid of lectures and Continuous Assessments.

The Vice-Chancellor would appreciate the understanding of both staff and students on these matters.
