FUOYE announces 9th Convocation Ceremonies

The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), Professor Abayomi Sunday Fasina, on behalf of the Governing Council, Senate, Congregation, and Students, invites the general public to the 9th Convocation Ceremonies commencing on Monday, February 17, 2025.

The graduation ceremonies will take place from Monday, February 17, 2025, to Sunday, February 23, 2025, and will be streamed live.

Day 01: Monday, February 17, 2025

1. Vice-Chancellorʼs Press Conference at Council Chamber: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM

2. Commissioning of Projects at Oye Campus:

   • 1000-Seater Auditorium

   • Professor Abayomi Sunday Fasina Conference Centre

   • 3-in-1 Faculty of Science Laboratory

   • New CBT Centre at Phase III

   • Professorial Office Complex

   • School of Postgraduate Studies Complex

   • Faculty of Education Building

   • Faculty of Law Complex

   • Sport Complex Pavilion

   • Innovation Hub

Day 02: Tuesday, February 18, 2025

Free Health Care Services for the Oye-Ekiti Community at the Palace of Oloye of Oye-Ekiti

Day 03: Wednesday, February 19, 2025

1. Free Health Services for the Ikole Community at the Palace of Elekole of Ikole-Ekiti: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

2. Commissioning of Projects at IPTS at Ayedun-Ekiti:

   • Ultra-Modern Laboratory

   • 2 New Modern Lecture Halls

   • Sport Complex

3. Commissioning of Projects at Ikole Campus:

   • Professorial Building - Faculty of Agriculture

   • 250-Seater Lecture Theatre

   • 3-in-1 1000 Capacity Faculty of Agriculture Laboratory

   • Block of 6 Classrooms donated by MHR Honourable Akintude Rotimi

4. Induction of Engineering Students - Faculty of Engineering Lecture Hall: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Day 04: Thursday, February 20, 2025

1. Vice-Chancellorʼs Staff Awards of Excellence Ceremonies and Personality Meritorious Awards: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

2. Edutainment and 100 Billion Endowment Fund Raising at Faculty of Science Lecture Hall: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM

3. Command Performance by the Theatre and Media Arts Students - TMA Complex

Day 05: Friday, February 21, 2025

1. Award of Bachelorʼs Degrees, Diplomas, and Prizes at 1000-Seater Auditorium, Oye Campus: 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM

2. Jummah Service at University Mosque: 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM

Day 06: Saturday, February 22, 2025

1. Convocation Lecture by Arc Sonny Sylva Echono, OON, FNAI, Executive Secretary TETfund, Abuja: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

2. Award of Postgraduate Diplomas, Degrees, and Conferment of Honorary Degrees at 1000-Seater Auditorium, Oye Campus: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
