Bill Skarsgård is Trapped in Anthony Hopkins’ Car in Locked Trailer

The Avenue has released the first official Locked trailer, previewing the upcoming horror thriller starring Bill Skarsgård as a man trapped inside of a car trap placed by Anthony Hopkins.

What happens in the Locked trailer?

The trailer centers around Eddie (Skarsgård), a man who breaks into a luxury SUV in the hopes of stealing it, only to find that the car is actually a designed trap set by William (Hopkins), a vigilante looking to teach Eddie a lesson. The film features Hopkins in mostly a voice role, but the trailer does show him appearing in person at some point in the movie.

Locked is set to premiere in theaters on March 21, 2025.

Locked is directed by David Yarokvesky, from a script written by Michael Arlen Ross. The legendary Sam Raimi serves as a producer on the project,

“When Eddie (Bill Skarsgård) breaks into a luxury SUV, he steps into a deadly trap set by William (Anthony Hopkins), a self-proclaimed vigilante delivering his own brand of twisted justice. With no means of escape, Eddie must fight to survive in a ride where escape is an illusion, survival is a nightmare, and justice shifts into high gear,” reads the film’s official synopsis.
