Long Bright River Release Date Set for Amanda Seyfried Peacock Show

Peacock has finally announced the Long Bright River release date for its newest limited drama, which is led by Oscar nominee Amanda Seyfried as police officer Mickey. The series is based on Liz Moore’s best-selling thriller novel published in 2020.

“It tells the story of Mickey, a police officer who patrols a Philadelphia neighborhood hard-hit by the opioid crisis. When a series of murders begins in the neighborhood, Mickey realizes that her personal history might be related to the case,” reads the official synopsis.

When is the Long Bright River release date?

The Long Bright River will be available for streaming starting Thursday, March 13, exclusively on Peacock. Seyfried will be joined by Nicholas Pinnock as Truman Dawes, Ashleigh Cummings, Callum Vinson, and John Doman, along with Dash Mihok, Britne Oldford, and more.

The limited drama is written and produced by Moore and Nikki Toscano, with the latter also serving as the showrunner. The series is executive produced by Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Amanda Lewis, Amy Pascal, and Russell Rothberg, with Hagar Ben-Asher directing the first episode. It is a production of Sony Pictures Television and UCP.
