Enugu tanker accident: 11 family members burnt beyond recognition

The last Saturday fuel tanker accident, which occurred at the Ugwonyeama section of the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway claimed 11 family members.

It was recalled that over 20 persons were said to have been burnt beyond recognition when a tanker lost control and smashed several vehicles.

It has now been ascertained that a man from Ebonyi State, who was traveling home from Anambra State for his father’s burial lost his life, alongside his family members.

“His name is Bro Jeremiah Nwaji. He is the President of Alter Boys Association, SS JOHN AND PAUL Iba Pope, Awada Obodi, Anambra.

“Himself, wife, 6 children, younger brother, maid, apprentice were traveling to their home town in Ebonyi State for the burial of their father coming up this Friday Jan 31st before the unfortunate incident at Ugwu Onyeama,” a source disclosed
