Scotland: Dessers opens up on Rangers exit talks
Rangers forward, Cyriel Dessers has said he is in no rush to leave the Light Blues this month.
Dessers has been tipped to leave the Scottish Premiership giants after losing his place to Hamza Igamane.
The Nigeria international also cast doubt on his Rangers future when he stated in a recent interview that he was seeking talks with club chiefs to determine his status in the team.
The 30-year-old has scored six goals in his last four appearances for Philippe Clement’s side.
Dessers revealed he is yet to seek out senior Rangers figures for discussions over a potential exit this month.
“No talks at all. I don’t mind that. I try to focus on the football and the things that are happening on the pitch,” he was quoted by Daily Record.
“Those are the things that I can control. And like Sunday at Tannadice, I’m just happy to be out there with the guys and fight for the points and be important.
“That’s what I want. There’s a lot of unfinished business at Rangers for me. That’s also why I kept pushing in the last weeks, in the gym, in training, in the minutes that you get, that’s because of that.”
