Media personality Toke Makinwa has continued to criticize 2Face for publicly announcing his divorce from Annie Idibia.

In a prior statement, Toke expressed that 2Face should feel embarrassed for airing their personal matters in a public forum.

In a recent post on Monday, Toke condemned 2Face for timing his divorce announcement to coincide with the public backlash Annie Idibia is currently experiencing.

She addressed the opinions of Nigerians suggesting that Annie should leave the marriage if it is no longer beneficial for her. While Toke expressed her support for the idea of leaving, she emphasized her concern regarding 2Face’s choice of timing for the divorce announcement.

According to her, the singer is contributing to the negative public perception of Annie. Toke further criticized him for his apparent lack of empathy, despite his frequent discussions about love.

She wrote, “Nobody is asking anybody to stay in a situation that’s not serving them any purpose anymore. By all means leave if you must, but why bring this online this very moment?

We know what’s going on behind closed doors, the world doesn’t know anything. It’s already been hectic with opinions flying around.

A handful of people know the truth and time will tell.
