Speed Darlington Returns To Social Media, Drops Cryptic Voice

Speed Darlington, a controversial Nigerian rapper, has made his return to social media following his release

According to GistLover, he was arrested in Owerri, Imo state, during a performance shortly after getting out the first time. He was held for about two months and was released on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.

A Federal High Court in Abuja approved a N20 million bail for Speed Darlington on January 16, requiring one surety for the same amount Justice Ekerete Akpan made this decision after the singer’s lawyer, Marshall Abubakar, submitted a bail request.

Recently, his lawyer confirmed that he has been released.

After his arrest, the singer posted online for the first time, including a coded voiceover. He shared images of bulls and, calling himself Akpi, mentioned that when bulls fight, one might step back not from fear but to regain energy and come back even stronger.

This has sparked questions among social media users about the reason behind his post given his recent situation.
