The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 Sees Neve Campbell Return, Book Adaptation Revealed
Netflix has finally announced The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 renewal for the hit legal drama series led by Manuel Garcia-Rulfo. It also been confirmed that Scream vet Neve Campbell will reprise her role as Maggie McPherson in all new ten episodes of Season 4, after the character only made brief appearances last season.
Besides The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4, Campbell will also next be seen in the highly-anticipated Scream 7 movie, which is being directed by franchise co-creator Kevin Williamson. She will be reprising her iconic role as Sidney Prescott, after nearly three decades since first playing the character in Wes Craven’s 1996 Scream.
Who is involved in The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4?
The Lincoln Lawyer is created and executive produced by David E. Kelley (Big Little Lies, Mr. Mercedes), with Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez serving as showrunners. Season 4 will be based on sixth book in Michael Connelly’s The Lincoln Lawyer novel series titled, The Law of Innocence, which was published in 2020.
Besides Garcia-Rulfo and Campbell, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, and Angus Sampson are also returning to reprise their respective roles as Lorna, Izzy, and Cisco. Production is expected to begin in February in Los Angeles.
The series is executive produced by Humphrey, Connelly, Rodriguez, Ross Fineman, Barry Jossen, Tana Jamieson, Matthew Lieberman, and Gladys Rodriguez. The latest season debuted with a perfect 100% score from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, and was on the Netflix Global Top 10 for 6 consecutive weeks.
“The series centers around Mickey Haller, an iconoclastic idealist, who runs his law practice out of the back seat of his Lincoln Town Car, as he takes on cases big and small across the expansive city of Los Angeles,” reads the original logline.
