Veteran actress Ngozi Ezeonu slams ladies without bras at audition

Veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Ezeonu has expressed her disapproval of young women attending auditions in revealing clothing, particularly those who forgo wearing bras.

A TikTok video posted by @mrdoingscartel on Wednesday showcased the experienced actress confronting two women during an audition in Lagos.

She criticized their decision to appear at the event without bras, questioning their motives and lamenting the frequency of such occurrences.

Ezeonu, 58, celebrated for her performances in Nollywood classics such as Glamour Girls and Living in Bondage, asserted, “Any day I’m on any audition table and anyone comes to me dressed like this, I will disqualify that person.”

As one of the judges at the Lagos audition, she underscored that such attire is not only unsuitable but also harmful to the image of aspiring actors.

“Who are you trying to impress? That’s why people see us as unserious. I’m a serious-minded actor; you can’t catch me dressed like this, even when I was your age,” she emphasized.
