CAF Confederation Cup: Enyimba off to Egypt for Zamalek clash

Enyimba have departed the country for their CAF Confederation Cup final Group D fixture against Zamalek of Egypt.

The People’s Elephant left the country via Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.

The players and contingent are expected to arrive in Cairo on Friday.

The encounter is scheduled for the Cairo International Stadium on Sunday, January 19.

Enyimba expressed their readiness to give their all in the game.

“Everything to fight for in Cairo,” Enyimba wrote on X.

Stanley Eguma’s side occupy third position on the table with five points.

Zamalek and Al-Masry occupy first and second positions, respectively, while Mozambican side Black Bulls remain at the bottom of the table
