UNILAG student who crowdfunded tuition celebrates graduation

Oluwakemisola Emmanuel, a student of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) who once sought public assistance to pay her tuition, has officially graduated.


In a heartfelt post on Instagram, Oluwakemisola shared her inspiring journey, recounting her struggles during her 100-level and 200-level years, when financial challenges nearly derailed her education. Determined to succeed, she turned to the public for support, and the assistance she received enabled her to complete her studies.


To celebrate her achievement, Oluwakemisola posted stunning graduation photos and expressed her gratitude:
“Officially a B.Sc. Mass Communication graduate from the University of Lagos! What started in December 2017 has finally come to a beautiful end today. I’m deeply grateful to God for guiding me through this journey and to everyone who supported me financially along the way.”
