Love Hurts BTS Video Previews Ke Huy Quan’s Tough Training Process
Universal Pictures has released a brand new Love Hurts BTS video for its upcoming action thriller, starring Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan in his first major leading man role after 2022’s Everything Everywhere All at Once. The movie is slated to debut in theaters on February 7, 2025.

What happens in the Love Hurts BTS video?
The video provides the audiences with a behind-the-scenes look at some of the movie’s action-packed sequences, featuring Quan discussing what the movie means to him. In addition, Quan also talked about the tough training he went through in preparation for his stunt sequences.
“The film follows Marvin Gable, a realtor working the Milwaukee suburbs, where ‘For Sale’ signs bloom. Gable receives a crimson envelope from Rose, a former partner-in-crime that he had left for dead. She’s not happy,” reads the official synopsis. “Now, Marvin is thrust back into a world of ruthless hitmen, filled with double-crosses and open houses turned into deadly warzones. With his brother Knuckles, a volatile crime lord, hunting him, Marvin must confront the choices that haunt him and the history he never truly buried.”
Love Hurts is directed by veteran stunt and fight coordinator JoJo Eusebio from a screenplay written by Matthew Murray, Josh Stoddard, and Luke Passmore. The film also stars Ariana DeBose (West Side Story), Daniel Wu (Tomb Raider), Marshawn “Beast Mode” Lynch (Bottoms), Mustafa Shakir (Emancipation), Lio Tipton (Lucy), Rhys Darby (Jumanji: The Next Level), André Eriksen (Violent Night) and Sean Astin (The Lord of the Rings trilogy). It is produced by Kelly McCormick and David Leitch, with Ben Orman executive producing.
