EPL: Brilliant piece of skill – Jason Cundy hails Chelsea star after 1-1 draw with Palace
Former Chelsea defender, Jason Cundy, has singled out Jadon Sancho for praise following Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Saturday.
Sancho produced a brilliant piece of skill to help set up the Blues’ opener.
The England international executed a lovely feint, letting the ball slide past him and the Palace defender before making a wonderful run to assist Cole Palmer.
Palmer finished well to put Enzo Maresca’s men in front in the 14th minute.
Crystal Palace found the leveler to clinch a point via Jean-Phillipe Mateta’s 82 minute strike.
Cundy said via The Chelsea Chronicle, “It’s a brilliant piece of play. Sancho lets the ball run across his body.
“He goes on the outside before flicking it with the inside of his right foot. Palmer has a touch and slides it past Dean Henderson.
“Palmer scores again, but let me tell you now, this is all about Sancho, a brilliant piece of individual skill.”
