Wayne Rooney to receive new job offers after Plymouth sack
Wayne Rooney is set to receive huge contract offers to change career after he was sacked by Plymouth Argyle.
The former Manchester United striker left Home Park on Tuesday following a horrendous six months in charge of the Championship side.
Rooney won only four league matches and leaves the club bottom of the table.
It was the fourth time in just two-and-a-half years that the 39-year-old has left a job after prior exits from Derby County, DC United and his sacking by Birmingham.
Despite that, there is still a clamour for Rooney’s services – particularly from broadcasters.
The UK Sun reports Rooney will be offered lucrative deals by TV channels to become a pundit. He has previously appeared on ITV and Sky.
