Josh Duhamel, Dylan Sprouse & More To Lead Action Thriller The Neglected
Josh Duhamel, Dylan Sprouse, and Til Schweiger have recently finished production on the action thriller The Neglected, according to a recent report from Deadline.
What do we know about The Neglected?
The trio will star in the upcoming movie that is co-written, directed, and produced by David Lipper (Murder at Hollow Creek). The film will follow the story of Detective Shaw (Duhamel), a man who is about to retire before finding out that a serial killer has buried his son alive on his last day.
“He then races against the clock to solve three murders and find his son’s location before he runs out of air,” reads the synopsis of the film.
Alongside the trio, Jeremy and Jason London, and Elena Sanchez will also star in the film. Adam G. Levine is also credited as a co-writer on the film alongside Lipper. Robert A. Daly Jr., Mark Canton, Dorothy Canton, Denise Loren, Mark Fasano, Ryan Winterstern, and Levine are all credited as producers.
“I think audiences are going to relate to the big question facing Shaw (Duhamel) in this film: who and what have we neglected in our lives and what is the cause and effect of that?” said Lipper in a statement to Deadline.
Duhamel most recently starred in the Amazon romantic comedy Shotgun Wedding, and is best known for his roles in projects like All My Children and NBC’s Las Vegas – as well as Michael Bay’s Transformers franchise. Sprouse is known for his role on the Disney Channel series The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, and has also recently appeared in movies like Beautiful Disaster, Beautiful Wedding, and more.
Til Schweiger is best known for his role in Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds, and has also appeared in Manta, Manta, Head Full of Honey, SLC Punk!, and countless other films.
