EPL: Man United need a shock, people tired of excuses – Amorim says after another defeat

Manchester United boss, Rúben Amorim has insisted that the club needs a shock.

The manager said he did not come to Old Trafford to make excuses week in week out, admitting that people are tired of excuses.

Amorim watched his side beaten 2-0 by Newcastle United in the Premier League on Monday night.

Alexander Isak and Joelinton scored in the first half, as Newcastle beat Manchester United 2-0 at Old Trafford.

The result means Ruben Amorim’s men remain in 14th spot and have failed to win any of their last four games

“I don’t want to arrive here and make excuses… I think people are tired of excuses in this club,” he told reporters after the game.

“Manchester United, our club, needs a shock… and we have to understand that.”
