EPL: Chelsea, Man Utd suffer shock 2-0 defeats against Ipswich, Newcastle

Chelsea and Manchester United suffered shock defeats in their last Premier League fixtures of 2024.

The Blues lost 2-0 at Ipswich Town, as their title hopes took another hit.

Liam Delap was the star of the show at Portman Road, as he scored one and provided the assist for the second.

The former Manchester City striker was fouled in the box and he stepped up to smash the penalty.

Shortly after the break, he set up Omari Hutchinson to seal the win.

Alexander Isak and Joelinton scored in the first half, as Newcastle beat Manchester United 2-0 at Old Trafford.

The result means Ruben Amorim’s men remain in 14th spot and have failed to win any of their last four games.
