Liverpool boss, Arne Slot has named winger Mohamed Salah as the best player in the world at the moment.
According to Slot, nobody can argue it because of Salah’s goals and assists so far this season for Liverpool.
Salah has been at Liverpool for over seven seasons now.
The Egyptian international is now top among Premier League players for both goals and assists this season, with 17 goals and 13 assists, respectively.
The 32-year-old was on the score sheet again as Liverpool thrashed West Ham United 5-0 in the Premier League on Sunday.
Speaking at his post-match interview after the game, Slot said about Salah, “We didn’t know Mohamed Salah could get any better… but somehow he has.
“Best player in the world? If you look at his numbers you can’t argue with it”.
Salah’s current contract with Liverpool will expire at the end of the season.
