Ballon d’Or: Salah speaks on winning award after Rodri

Liverpool winger, Mohamed Salah, has insisted he is not obsessed with winning the next Ballon d’Or.

Salah is already considered a strong favourite for the award, following a strong start to the current campaign.

The Egypt international is top of the Premier League charts for goals and assists this season, with 17 and 13 respectively.

However, after scoring again in the Reds’ 5-0 win over West Ham on Sunday, Salah said: “The only thing in my mind is for Liverpool to win the Premier League.”

Salah was left out of the Ballon d’Or 30-man nominee list this year.

If he wins it next year, the 32-year-old will become the third Premier League player to take it home after Cristiano Ronaldo and Rodri, who won it this year.
