CHAN 2024Q: Agyemang-Badu urges Black Galaxies to go all out for win against Nigeria

Former Ghana international, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has urged the Black Galaxies to go all out for a win against Nigeria in the second leg of their 2024 African Nations Championship, CHAN, qualifier.

The two countries played out a 0-0 draw in the first leg on Sunday.

The Black Galaxies will need to beat their opponents or secure a score draw to qualify for CHAN 2024.

Agyemang-Badu said it is important for the team to adopt an attacking approach in the second leg.

“We should be very careful not to go and defend,” he said as reported by Joy Sports.

“This is only one game and when you lose, you are not going anywhere. We can’t do that [lose] because mind you, we didn’t qualify for the [2025] Africa Cup of Nations.

“If the CHAN too, we don’t qualify then there will be a little bit of disaster so we will support them, pray them, they [Galaxies] should go all out and win the game for us in the return leg.”
