The Unbreakable Boy Trailer: Zachary Levi Leads Inspiring Family Drama Movie

Lionsgate has shared the trailer for The Unbreakable Boy, its newest inspirational family drama starring Shazam! actor Zachary Levi. The film is scheduled to arrive in theaters on February 21, 2025.

Levi was most recently seen in the film adaptation of Harold and the Purple Crayon, which received negative reviews from critics. Besides The Unbreakable Boy, he is also attached to star in several projects including the drama Sarah’s Oil with Bridget Regan, the action thriller Hotel Tehran with Liam Neeson, and the thriller drama Not Without Hope with Josh Duhamel.

What is The Unbreakable Boy about?

“When his parents, Scott and Teresa, learn that Austin is both autistic and has brittle bone disease, they initially worry for their son’s future,” reads the official synopsis. “But with Scott’s growing faith and Austin’s incredible spirit, they become ‘unbreakable,’ finding joy, gratitude, and courage even in the most trying times — an extraordinary true story about a father and son learning together that every day can be the best day of your life!”

The Unbreakable Boy is written and directed by Jon Gunn based on Scott LeRette and Susy Flory’s The Unbreakable Boy: A Father’s Fear, a Son’s Courage, and a Story of Unconditional Love novel. In addition to Levi, the cast includes Meghann Fahy, Jacob Laval, Drew Powell, Peter Facinelli, and Patricia Heaton. It is produced by Kevin Downes, Jon Erwin, Jerilyn Esquibel, Peter Facinelli, and Andrew Erwin. The film is a production by Kingdom Story Company and Lionsgate.
