Conference League: Marc Guiu is unlucky because of two Chelsea players – Maresca

Chelsea boss, Enzo Maresca has insisted that striker, Marc Guiu is unlucky over his lack of regular playing time in the Premier League because of Nicolas Jackson and Christopher Nkunku.

According to Maresca, both Jackson and Nkunku are doing great at the moment.

He spoke after Guiu scored a hat-trick in Chelsea’s Conference League 5-1 win over Shamrock Rovers on Thursday.

Three goals from Guiu and a goal each from Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Marc Cucurella gave the Blues the victory over Shamrock Rovers at Stamford Bridge.

“Don’t forget the age of Marc Guiu! He’s scored 6 goals and he’s 2006, same as Acheampong.

“He must keep working hard, he’s just unlucky as Nico Jackson and Nkunku are doing great.

“January loan? We will see what happens,” Maresca said after the match.
