“In This Life You Need A Sprinkle Of Wickedness To Thrive”– Adekunle Gold
Nigerian artist Adekunle Gold, whose real name is Adekunle Kosoko, has expressed that being kind can sometimes make a person seem foolish.
He shared this thought in a tweet on his X account on Monday, mentioning that it took him some time to realize this.
He believes that a little bit of harshness is necessary to succeed in life.
“Took me a while, but I can confirm now that in this life, you need a sprinkle of wickedness to thrive. Kindness go turn you to mumu,” he stated.
One of his followers disagreed with the singer’s comparison.
The follower, named Oludotun Sunday, called this comparison a big lie.
He argued that kind people never regret their kindness and do not want to be cruel.
He stated, “This is a hot fat lie
Kind people are kind and never regret their kindness. If you are wicked, you are wicked. If you are kind, you can never wish and do not need to be wicked.
Kind people never nurse that idea, only wicked people can be two-faced.”
