BUK reopens registration portal for 2023/2024 session
The Senate of Bayero University, Kano has granted a six weeks extension for students who sat for the First Semester examinations without paying their registration fees. This decision was taken at the 418th Senate meeting of Wednesday, November 27, 2024, following a submission by the Vice Chancellor.
The extension which is effective from Thursday 28 November, 2024 is intended to allow students complete their registration. However, students who fail to pay their registration fees within the extended period will be required to suspend their studies for 2023/2024 session.
In addition, the Senate has granted suspension of studies for the 2023/2024 session for students who have been unable to register due to unforeseen circumstances and did not write the first Semester examinations. This decision demonstrates the university’s commitment to supporting indigent students.
