Ex-Real Madrid, Coentrao names best manager in football

Former Real Madrid left-back, Fabio Coentrao, has named Manchester United’s new head coach, Ruben Amorim, as by far, the best manager in the world.

It was reported that Amorim left Sporting CP for Manchester United on November 11.

Coentrao, who knows the Portuguese tactician fairly well, having played with him both in the national team and at club level, Benfica, feels the Reds Devils have finally solved their coaching problem.

Calling Amorim the best manager in the world, Coentrao said via Alfredo Pedulla, “Sporting have lost a very important player, but I am happy for Ruben. He deserves this and much more.

“Manchester United have found the best manager in the world… by far,” the former player said on the sidelines of an event.”

Amorim has won the Portuguese first-division league title on two occasions with Sporting, among other honours.

The 39-year-old also left his former side on top of the league standings this year after 11 matches in charge.

Coentrao’s belief is against the popular opinion which puts Manchester City boss, Pep Guardiola as the best manager in the game.
