Ballon d’Or: Rodri names two players he’d have voted for to win award
Manchester City midfielder, Rodri has said he’d have voted for Real Madrid duo, Dani Carvajal and Vinicius Junior to win the 2024 Ballon d’Or.
According to Rodri, he he’d have voted Carvajal as second and Vinicius as third for the prestigious individual award.
The 28-year-old recently won the 2024 Ballon d’Or ahead of Vinicius, Jude Bellingham and Carvajal.
Rodri won the award after receiving the highest votes ahead of other players for his exploits for both club and country for the year under review.
He led Manchester City to win the Premier League and Spain to win the Euro 2024 in Germany.
“I’d vote Dani Carvajal 2nd at the Ballon d’Or… and Vinicius Jr as 3rd”, Rodri told @partidazocope.
Rodri is currently recovering from an injury.
