Burna Boy Makes History As First African Artist To Be Nominated For Grammys Six Straight Years

Damini Ogulu, known worldwide as Burna Boy, is a famous Nigerian singer who has made history by being the first African artist to receive Grammy nominations for six years in a row.

Since 2018, the ‘African Giant’ singer has achieved consecutive Grammy nominations, which is quite unusual for an African artist.

He has a total of 11 nominations, with one win.

This year, his popular song ‘Higher’ is nominated for Best African Music Performance at the Grammys.
