Elon Musk’s transgender daughter to leave US after Trump’s victory
Vivian Wilson, the transgender daughter of Tesla CEO and X owner Elon Musk, has announced her intention to leave the United States following Donald Trump’s election victory.
The 20-year-old shared her plans on Threads, expressing her discomfort with Trump’s return to office.
She wrote: “I don’t see my future in the United States.
“I’ve thought this for a while, but yesterday confirmed it for me. Even if he’s only in office for four years, even if anti-trans regulations don’t materialise, the people who voted for this arent going anywhere anytime soon”.
Born Xavier Musk in 2004, she filed to legally change her name and gender in April 2022, seeking to sever ties with her father by adopting her mother’s maiden name, Wilson.
Musk, who has openly supported Trump has been vocal about his strained relationship with Vivian.
He claimed that he was misled into allowing his child to use puberty blockers.
Musk said, “I lost my son… They call it ‘deadnaming’ because your son is dead, killed by the woke mind virus.”
