Moana 2 Soundtrack Sets Release Date, New Song Unveiled
Disney has confirmed the Moana 2 soundtrack release date for the highly-anticipated animated sequel. In addition to the full tracklist and release date, the studio has also unveiled one of the tracks from the official soundtrack titled, “Beyond” which will serve as the movie’s end credit song. It is written by Grammy winners Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear (Barlow & Bear).
“The film reunites Moana and Maui three years later for an expansive new voyage alongside a crew of unlikely seafarers,” reads the official synopsis. “After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever faced.”

When is the Moana 2 soundtrack release date?
From award-winning composers Opetaia Foa‘i and Mark Mancina, The Moana 2 Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Vinyl and Moana 2 Original Motion Picture Soundtrack CD will be available for purchase starting on November 22. This comes ahead of the sequel’s theatrical release on November 27.
Directed and written by David G. Derrick Jr., Moana 2 will feature the voices of Auliʻi Cravalho as Moana, Dwayne Johnson as Maui, Temuera Morrison as Tui, Nicole Scherzinger as Sina, Rose Matafeo as Loto, David Fane as Kele, Rachel House as Tala, Alan Tudyk as Heihei, Awhimai Fraser as Matangi, and more. The original was directed by Ron Clements and John Musker. It was not only a commercial success with a gross of over $600 million, but it also earned positive reviews from critics and earned two Oscar nominations including Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song.
