Ex-NYSC member reportedly kidnapped by bandits on her way home after POP in Kebbi

Linda Chiamaka Obi, a recent graduate of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), was reportedly kidnapped by bandits while traveling home after her passing out parade in Kebbi State.

The incident occurred on Saturday, November 3, 2024, near Zungeru in Niger State, when bandits attacked a vehicle en route from Kebbi to Onitsha, Anambra State. Chiamaka was taken along with a family of four, and a male passenger was tragically killed in the attack.

The driver and two other passengers were injured and are currently receiving medical treatment.

Ms. Obi, a native of Ogbuokwe Edenta, Okwietiti in Imo State, is a graduate of Federal Polytechnic, Nekede.
