This is to inform the students of the University of Port-Harcourt (UNIPORT) that the school management has released the approved academic calendar for the 2024/2025 academic calendar.

Sunday, 24th November, 2024: All returning students arrive

Monday, 25th November, 2024: Registration commences for returning students

Monday, 25th November, 2024: Lectures commences for returning students

Sunday, 1st December, 2024: Arrival of fresh students

Monday, 2nd December, 2024: Pre-Resimption Registration for fresh students

Monday, 9th December, 2024: Lectures commences for fresh students

Monday, 23rd December, 2024 - Sunday, 5th January, 2025: Christmas Break

Tuesday, 21st January, 2025: Orientation for fresh students

Friday, 10th January, 2025: Deadline for payment of charges

Tuesday, 11th January, 2025: Matriculation Ceremony

Monday, 17th March, 2025 - Friday, 11th April, 2025: First Semester Examinations 

Monday, 14th - Friday, 25th April, 2025: First Semester Break

SECOND SEMESTER

Sunday, 27th April, 2025: All students arrive

Monday, 28th April, 2025: Second Semester Lectures commences

Friday, 30th May, 2025: Deadline for payment of second instalment charges

Monday, 28th July, 2025 - Friday, 1st August, 2025: Revision

Monday, 11th August, 2025 - Friday, 12th September, 2025: Second Semester Examinations

Monday, 15th - Friday, 26th September, 2025: Long vacation for students
