Nkechi Blessing in Tears and On Bended Knees, Publicly Apologies To TAMPAN Over 3 Years Suspension
A new video circulating on social media captures the moment renowned Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing publicly begged the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) for forgiveness over her 2021 suspension.
Nkechi Blessing made her appeal during the Celebrities Entertainment Award in Canada. Her suspension in 2021 stemmed from a public feud with her colleague, Lege Miami. Following the incident, Lege Miami showed remorse and issued an apology, while Nkechi Blessing dismissed TAMPAN’s suspension notice and defiantly ignored their authority.
Both actors were indefinitely banned from Yoruba movie sets after their heated exchange on Instagram. The conflict began when Nkechi Blessing lashed out at Lege Miami, who appeared to sympathize with Baba Ijesha, an actor accused of sexual assault involving a minor at the time.
