Alien: Romulus VHS Release Date Set, Fede Álvarez Reveals Packaging
Director Fede Álvarez has surprised fans by revealing an Alien: Romulus VHS tape for a special release that turns back the clock on the Alien franchise.
When is the Alien: Romulus VHS release date?
The announcement came during a screening of the film at Beyond Fest, where Álvarez revealed that a special, limited edition VHS version of Romulus will be released on December 3, 2024. The VHS will feature artwork by iconic artist Matt Ferguson. The VHS release of Alien: Romulus also comes just as the Alien franchise is celebrating its 45th anniversary.
Alien: Romulus is now available on digital platforms, and will also become available on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD on December 3 as well.
The film was directed and executive produced by Álvarez from a screenplay he co-wrote with Rodo Sayagues. The film stars CIsabela Merced (Sicario: Day of the Soldado), David Jonsson (Industry, Rye Lane), Archie Renaux (Shadow and Bone), Spike Fearn (Tell Me Everything), and Aileen Wu. Franchise creator Ridley Scott also served as a producer along with Michael Pruss and Walter Hill.
