As you may recall, the Students' Union imposed a ban on Sycamore Hostel due to their failure to refund excess fees collected from students. This situation understandably caused frustration and uncertainty among those affected, as many students depend on reliable and affordable accommodation.

I am pleased to inform you that Sycamore Hostel has now resolved this issue by fully refunding all excess charges to the impacted students. 

The Union has taken significant steps to ensure that the refund process was executed transparently and efficiently, with regular communication to the students throughout.

In light of these developments, the Students Union has decided to lift the ban imposed on Sycamore Hostel. This decision was made after carefiul consideration and discussions within our council. We believe that lifting the ban will have several beneficial implications for our student community.
