FUNAAB SUG notice on transport fare enforcement

Following yesterday's press release, Our attention has been drawn to some transporters defaulting on the agreed fares. The Union has met with the defaulting transporters and reaffirmed our stance. The approved transport fares remain:

Gate - School Car Park: N150

- Gate - Ceremonial Building: A100

- Gate - Colleges/Hostel: N200

- Accord - School Car Park: N200

- Oluwo - School Car Park: N250

- Isolu - School Car Park: #250

- MANCOT BUSES- Camp to School: N150

Despite agreements, the CAMP UNIT (including mini-buses/KOROPE buses) refuses to adhere to the approved rates. To this end, the union has decided that NO BUSES FROM THE CAMP UNIT WILL BE ALLOWED INTO THE SCHOOL CAMPUS UNLESS THEY ACCEPT THE N350 RATE.

We urge all students to join us in this struggle by boycotting Camp unit buses and using Mancot buses or alternative transport provided by the Union. Your cooperation is crucial to our success.
