Palmer urges English club to sign Nigerian defender

Former Leeds United and Southampton star, Carlton Palmer has urged English club Norwich City to sign Nigerian defender Bright Osayi-Samuel.

Palmer believes Osayi-Samuel would be a good fit for Norwich, adding that he has plenty of energy.

Norwich are reportedly eyeing a move for the Fenerbahçe star in the January transfer window.

Speaking with Football League World on Norwich’s interest in the Super Eagles right-back, Palmer said:

“He has moved back to full-back playing for Fenerbahce, but he used to be a winger at QPR. He’s got plenty of energy, plenty of unpredictability, and he can play down the right flank.

“If they can get him back, I think it would be a fantastic move for Norwich. Since moving to Turkey, he has won the cup, and they’ve been consistently challenging at the top of the league.”
