Juror #2 Trailer Previews Clint Eastwood Courtroom Drama Movie Starring Nicholas Hoult

The first trailer for Clint Eastwood’s Juror #2 has been released.

Juror #2 is a new courtroom drama movie that is directed by Eastwood. Starring Nicholas Hoult, Toni Collette, and more, the film will be released in United States theaters this coming November from Warner Bros.

What happens in the Juror #2 trailer?

The Juror #2 trailer sees Hoult recount a time when he his something when he was driving home late at night; however, not seeing anything in the near vicinity after he stopped his car and looked around, he assumed it was a deer. After getting selected to sit on jury duty for a murder case, however, Hoult’s Justin Kemp realizes that what he thought was a deer may have actually been the victim.

Along with Hoult and Collette, Juror #2 stars Zoey Deutch, Kiefer Sutherland, Gabriel Basso, Leslie Bibb, Chris Messina, J. K. Simmons, Amy Aquino, Adrienne C. Moore, Cedric Yarbrough, and Francesca Eastwood.

The script for the film was written by Jonathan Abrams. Prior to this, Eastwood’s latest directorial efforts were 2021’s Cry Macho and 2019’s Richard Jewell.

“This is a film I would want to see, that I think a lot of people would enjoy,” Eastwood told PEOPLE in a statement. “It looks at the gray areas between the black and white of everyday circumstances and makes you decide for yourself…It really intrigues me when a story places a character in a moral dilemma, and this is one that we could all imagine ourselves in or relate to in some way.”

He added, “We had a really great group of actors, led by Nicholas Hoult, who I was really impressed with — he is what I think a movie star is. Everyone was very professional, came prepared and ready to work, but more than that they came and we laughed every day. Whether I’m directing or acting, I think it’s important to enjoy the work, and we did.”

Juror #2 will be released in United States theaters on November 1, 2024, from Warner Bros. Pictures.
