EPL: Arsenal, Chelsea close gap on Man City after latest results

Arsenal and Chelsea have closed the gap on Manchester City in the Premier League table.

This comes after Arsenal and Chelsea recorded a 4-2 victories in their latest Premier League fixtures.

Arsenal defeated Leicester City 4-2 at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

Goals from Gabriel Martinelli, Leandro Trossard, Wilfred Ndidi (own goal) and Kai Havertz gave Mikel Arteta’s side all three points against the visitors.

Chelsea, on the other hand, defeated Brighton 4-2, thanks to Cole Palmer’s four goals in the first half.

The results means Arsenal are now levelled on points with Man City, who played 1-1 with Newcastle United earlier on Saturday.

The Gunners sits in second position with 14 points from six matches, the same with Man City but behind on goal difference.

Chelsea are in third position with 13 points from the same number of matches.

Meanwhile, Liverpool will move to the top of the Premier League table if they beat Wolves later today.
