The Taiwo Bankole Scholarship for aspiring STEM and Law Students, 2024

The Michael Taiwo Scholarship Foundation is proud to announce the 2024 Taiwo Bankole Scholarship, a fully-funded opportunity designed to empower students from low-income backgrounds in Lagos to pursue their dreams in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), and Law.


This scholarship is a tribute to the late Taiwo Bankole Ogunyemi, a visionary leader who dedicated his life to positively impacting the lives of young people. His mission to change the world through education inspires the foundation to provide deserving students with the resources they need to succeed.

Eligibility and Selection:

The Taiwo Bankole Scholarship is open to students who meet the following criteria:

* Age: Between 17 and 25 years old

* Financial Background: From a low-income family residing in Ajegunle, Lagos

* Academic Achievement: Secured admission into a public university in Nigeria to study a STEM or Law course

Scholarship Benefits:

Successful candidates will receive a fully-funded scholarship covering:

* Tuition Fees

* Accommodation

* Living Stipends

Required Documents:

Applicants must submit the following documents with their application:

* SSCE Certificate

* JAMB Result

* Admission Letter

* Identification Card (NIN, International Passport, Voters Card, Drivers License)

* Two Letters of Recommendation (one from a secondary school teacher or principal and one from an Ajegunle community stakeholder)
Application Process:

Applications for the 2024 Taiwo Bankole Scholarship are open until October 7th, 2024. Interested and qualified students can apply online through the scholarship  Portal
