ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive Taboo: Family Secrets trailer, previewing the upcoming drama about an unraveling marriage in the face of some taboo decisions.

What happens in the Taboo: Family Secrets trailer?

The trailer for the film Lukas, the patriarch of a family that is on the verge of unraveling. The film follows the story of Lukas’ ongoing infidelities, as well as the taboo relationship between his son Tyler and his wife, Tyler’s stepmother.

Taboo: Family Secrets is slated to release on October 22, 2024, when the film will be available digitally on most major digital storefronts.

Taboo: Family Secrets is written and directed by Deborah Twiss, who also stars in the project. Alongside Twiss, Taboo: Family Secrets also features Saw series star Costas Mandylor, Staffan Edenholm, Ashley Westover, Patricia McKenzie, and Russ Camarda.

“A family is fractured by Lukas, the patriarch (Costas Mandylor) and his ongoing infidelities,” reads the film’s official synopsis. “When the son Tyler (Staffan Edenholm) comes home for a visit, a taboo passion between him and his stepmother, Amanda (Deborah Twiss) blossoms, changing the family dynamics forever.
