EPL: Leicester City pushing Ndidi to sign new contract

Leicester City remain confident of persuading Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi to sign a new contract.

Ndidi’s contract with the Foxes expired at the end of last month.

The defensive midfielder has been targeted by clubs in England and overseas.

According to the Telegraph, the player remains in talks with Leicester, who are growing confident of reaching an agreement.

The 27-year-old arrived at the King Power Stadium from Belgian Pro League outfit, KRC Genk in January 2017.

Ndidi, who has been a key figure since his arrival at the club, won the FA Cup with Leicester in the 2020/21 season.

He played a pivotal role in the Foxes promotion to the Premier League last season.
