FA Cup final: Man Utd the best team in England – Guardiola

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has hailed Manchester United as the best team in England in terms of history.

Guardiola stated this while addressing the media on Friday, ahead of their FA Cup final this weekend.

It will be the second year in a row that both Manchester teams will face each other for the trophy.

And although City are widely regarded as favourites, Guardiola has called for United to be respected.

He said: “We respect a lot of United. Always it’s been like that since I arrived for their history.

“In the last decade, we have been better, but in terms of history it’s the best team in England.

“For that you have to of course respect them massively. What they feel, I don’t know because I’m not there.”
