New Captain America: Brave New World Image Previews Sam Wilson’s Suit

A new image from Marvel’s Captain America: Brave New World has been released, giving fans their first clear look at the new suit Anthony Mackie will wear.

The new image comes courtesy of Empire Magazine, and shows off Mackie as Sam Wilson sneaking with his shield in hand. The photo also reveals more of the new suit Wilson will wear in the upcoming movie.

While things like McDonald’s ads have shown off some of the suit, this is the first still from the movie that shows it off in greater detail.

What do we know about Captain America: Brave New World?

Captain America: Brave New World is being directed by Julius Onah, who previously made 2015’s The Girl Is in Trouble, 2018’s The Cloverfield Paradox, and 2019’s Luce.

Along with Mackie and Ford, the Marvel Studios movie stars Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres/Falcon, Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, Tim Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns/Leader, Shira Haas as Ruth/Sabra, and Liv Tyler as Betty Ross.

Xosha Roquemore, Seth Rollins, and Rose Salazar are also playing undisclosed roles in Captain America: Brave New World.

Captain America: Brave New World releases in United States theaters on February 14, 2025.
