Lagos Police Arrest 28 Suspects From Black Spots (Photo)

Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos Police Command have apprehended 28 suspects from various black spots across the state.

This was disclosed via the RRS X handle on Sunday, February 18.

According to the statement, areas where the suspects were arrested from includes Ketu, Mile 12 Underbridge, OldToll Gate and Motorways adding that the suspects  are to be charged to court.

It reads:“In continuation of the drive to reduce crime in Lagos metropolis through sustained monitoring of black spots, RRS operatives at about 11:25pm on Thursday, arrested 28 suspects.
 
“Some of the notorious areas where the suspects were arrested include Ketu, Mile 12 Underbridge, OldToll Gate and Motorways.  The 28 suspects were those screened from 46 others earlier arrested during an overnight operation. 18 of the suspects were released after thorough screening.

“The 28 suspects are to be charged to court in line with the directive of the Commissioner of Police, CP Adegoke Fayoade.”
